Corion Landscape Management in Ferndale is donating six months of landscape services, valued at $2,400, to Sean Humphrey House, a nonprofit Bellingham organization.
Sean Humphrey House, which provides safe housing and personal care to individuals living with HIV and AIDS, was selected as Corion’s beneficiary for the Professional Landscape Network’s Day of Service. The network, also known as PLANET, is an international association serving lawn care professionals, landscape management contractors, design/build/installation professionals, as well as interior plantscapers.
The annual PLANET Day of Service, which is scheduled for April 22 this year, is designed to unite members around the country for a day of giving back to their communities.
“While this is planned nationally as a one-day event, we were so impressed by the compassionate care provided by Sean Humphrey House that we made a six month commitment,” said David Arnold, president of Corion Landscape Management, in a press release.
Last year, Corion donated maintenance and installation services to the Boys & Girls Club of Ferndale.
Corion Landscape Management, founded in 2001, provides comprehensive landscaping installation, maintenance and seasonal services for commercial, multi-family and mixed-use sites in Whatcom, Skagit and Island counties.
