Cybersecurity experts discuss risks to businesses at March 26 luncheon

Cybersecurity experts will discuss how cyber criminals target computers and how business owners can protect themselves at a luncheon next week.

Local information technology company 3D Corporation and Sohpos, an international IT security company, are inviting businesses to the luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26 at Bellingham Golf and Country Club at 3729 Meridian St.

Attendees will get practical advice from Sophos security expert Cameron Byers on how to protect themselves and combat security threats, according to a press release. Sophos has more than 100 million users in 150 countries.

“We want to continue to provide a reliable channel for business owners and managers to learn from the experts on how to protect their business, have a great lunch and support our community’s technology education – all at once,” said Dave Koshinz CEO of 3D Corporation, in the news release.
