Social Driver, a Washington D.C.-based digital agency, marks the opening of its Bellingham satellite office with a panel discussion and networking event on Wednesday, Nov. 14.
The kickoff event begins at 5 p.m. at the BIG Idea Lab at 114 E. Chestnut St. in downtown Bellingham.
Social Driver builds websites, develops mobile apps, and runs social media campaigns to help businesses connect with their audiences. Its new Bellingham office is located in the coworking space at 2020 Engineering’s Wellspring Building on Dupont Street.
Speakers for the event include:
– Devon Hopkins, a social business and marketing specialist and director of client solutions for Social Driver. Hopkins has produced a variety of campaigns, from marketing political social networks to consulting web strategy for nonprofits, businesses and political campaigns. He managed the marketing side of the social network that powered President Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign. He holds a bachelor’s from Wesleyan University.
– Casey DenBleyker, Social Driver’s creative director. DenBleyker has produced campaigns for consumer packaged goods, beverage companies, nonprofit organizations, public relations firms, government agencies, hospitality and travel industries, as well as private sector businesses. His work has been featured in multiple design industry publications and has won local and international awards for innovation and dramatic design.
– Renata B. Kowalczyk, business consultant and co-founder of Coworking LLC, which operates the coworking space in the Wellspring Building with 2020 Engineering.
