Discussion on state of pot industry planned in Bellingham

The director of the state Liquor and Cannabis Board and a Bellingham lawyer who works with marijuana businesses will talk about recreational retail marijuana at an event by the Bellingham City Club in Bellingham.

Rick Garza, the state director, and Heather Wolf will talk about the state of industry and explore questions about legal marijuana at the event that starts at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 24 at Northwood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave., Bellingham. Following the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session.

Cost in advance is $13 for members and $18 for non-members and $5 for young adults 29 and under. A limited number of tickets at the door cost $15 for members and $20 for guests.
