Downtown Bellingham Partnership prepares to unveil new logo

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership will unveil its new logo at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 at the Copper Hog at 1327 N. State St.

The partnership invited three local companies to design a new logo during a two-and-a-half-hour “design hackathon,” at Aslan Brewery on Feb. 26. More than 100 people showed up to watch as local firms Social Driver, Ketchup+Mustard and Faithlife’s design team DSGNHAVN created new logos on a big screen.

“The best cities on earth incorporate design elements sourced by working with their creative class, and this event proves that highly creative talent is embodied in downtown Bellingham,” said Nick Hartrich, the partnership’s executive director.
