The Downtown Bellingham Partnership has released an exhibit lineup for the next edition of the monthly Downtown Art Walk, scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, at various venues in downtown Bellingham.
Highlights include:
– Varvid features work from local artist Courtney Starks accompanied by bluegrass music from the Prozac Mountain Boys.
– Whatcom Museum presents its ongoing exhibit, “Vanishing Ice,” in its Lightcatcher Building.
– The Comics Place features sculptures, lamp, and clocks constructed out of action figures of past and present.
– Presence Dance Studio presents “Odin’s Eye Imagery—What You Thought You Saw,” by artist Thom Davis.
Other participating venues this month include: Allied Arts of Whatcom County Gallery, Bayou on Bay, The Hair Art Studio, Good Time Girls, Home to Home, Honey Salon, The Leopold Retirement Residence, Make.Shift Art Space, Pickford Dreamspace Studios, Seifert & Jones Wine Merchants, Studio U1, and The Stamp and Coin Place.
