Downtown businesses open for trick or treaters

The Bellingham Business Journal

The Downtown Bellingham Partnership invites children ages 13 and under with their families to attend the annual Downtown Trick or Treat on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

More than 100 downtown businesses participate in this safe and festive Halloween alternative for young trick or treaters. Downtown merchants will offer kids dressed in costumes an array of treats.

Other adventures that day include a costume party at the Bellingham Public Market from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Professional photographer Mark Turner will have a photo booth set up inside the Public Market.

Trick or treat posters will be placed on the doors and windows of participating businesses. Maps to all the participating businesses will be available at most locations. Maps are also available at and at the Downtown Info Station at 1304 Cornwall Ave.
