Driver's ed scholarships available for teens in need

Bellingham’s Blue Skies for Children is offering scholarships for homeless, low-income or foster care children, ages 15 to 17, to take driver’s education classes. The ​nonprofit will offer five scholarships this spring and five in the fall. Teens must have a car available, a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher and auto insurance. Application packets can be picked up from Blue Skies or downloaded from their website at www.blueskiesforchildren.org. Deadline is April 14 for the spring scholarships.
