Whatcom Community College in Bellingham is offering two new classes through its Community and Continuing Education program to teach basic and advanced strategies to sell items on eBay.
The first class, scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, will cover how to set up an eBay seller account, create successful eBay listings, upload pictures and accept credit card payments through PayPal. Topics also include selling tips and tricks, traps to avoid, how to determine shipping costs and where to get free shipping supplies.
The second class, from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, will teach insider tips and strategies to draw the most bids, maximize sales and beat competitors. The class will also cover finding a profitable niche, marketing and photography tips, eBay Stores and free automation tools to streamline selling.
Both classes will be held in WCC’s Kelly Hall, and taught by Kevin Boyd, an award-winning eBay instructor and author from Seattle.
Each course costs $49 per person. Registration for both courses at the same time costs $85.
