Jesse Ellenz, general manager at Bellingham Marine, has been appointed to the position of vice president of special projects, according to the company.

Ellenz will also remain general manager of Bellingham Marine’s northwest division until a replacement is hired. Ellenz assumes day to day oversight of the company’s efforts to expand its reach into projects  beyond the typical marina market.

He joined Bellingham Marine in 2006 as a project manager, and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Central Washington University.

Ellenz has worked in construction for more than 15 years.
