Western Washington University, Bellingham Technical College, Whatcom Community College and the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council will host a series of seminars on taking the mystery out of estate planning from 4:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17 and again on May 24 at the Squalicum Boathouse at 2600 Harbor Loop Drive in Bellingham.
The two seminars are designed to provide an overview of how to best address estate planning goals while also learning about the tax benefits and consequences of specific estate planning vehicles.
The curriculum for the seminars is being prepared and presented by members of the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council, an interdisciplinary organization of professionals involved in estate planning sectors, such as trust and financial advisors, life and health insurance underwriters, long-term care agents, trust officers, attorneys and accountants.
The events are free and open to the public, but space is limited and reservations are required. To make a reservation, contact Valerie Frank at the BTC foundation office by calling (360) 752-8684 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
