After 25 years providing western Washington clients with quality buildings, homes and site work, Faber Construction of Lynden plans to celebrate its anniversary with an open house on Thursday, Dec. 13.
Appetizers and beverages will be offered from 4-7 p.m. in Faber Construction’s main office at 131 E. Grover St..
Faber Construction, owned by Rick and Debbie Faber, has evolved and expanded since initially focusing on agricultural construction when it opened in 1987.
Among the company’s more notable projects is a 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility built last year for Index Sensors and Controls. The facility was the first on Port of Bellingham property to be rated with LEED Gold status.
Faber Construction’s portfolio also includes buildings for BakerviewSquare, Birch Bay Square and Cornerstone Christian School.
Current projects include construction of the Woodway Town Hall in Edmonds and renovation of Seattle City Light’s historical houses in Diablo.
While Faber Construction has performed site work and built custom homes for years, it recently created two divisions that focus on those areas.
Faber Earthworks was founded in 2009 to offer public and private site work, including parks, roads, water and sewer projects.
West Coast Homes, a member of the Lindal Cedar Homes Dealer network, was added in 2011.
All together, the company employs 50 people.
“I attribute our success to our faith and an incredible team,” said Rick Faber, company president, in a press release. “Many of our crew members have been with us for years, providing quality and stability for our clients.”
