The Ferndale Chamber of Commerce will host its third annual business expo from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 13, giving businesses an opportunity to introduce themselves to the local business community and the greater community of Ferndale.
Local government officials including representatives Doug Ericksen and Kelli Linville are scheduled to attend, and door prizes will be given throughout the event, one of which is an iPod Touch courtesy of TD Curran. Admission is free for all attendees.
The event will feature five free educational business courses. Classes, which are approximately 45 minutes long, will be on topics such as business counseling options, social media and advertising, and the state of the economy.
Vendor registration information can be found at the Ferndale Expo website, www.expo262.com. All businesses, nonprofits, and organizations from Whatcom County are invited to participate. Discounts are available for Ferndale Chamber members as well as members of other Whatcom County chambers.
The Ferndale Expo will be held at the newly remodeled Ferndale Events Center, former location of Emerald Bay Events and Bingo262. For more information contact the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce at (360) 384-3042.
