Ferndale's Find Your Fashion hosts event series for two-year anniversary

Find Your Fashion, a Ferndale clothing store, celebrates its two-year anniversary from Aug. 13-19 with a series of events, demonstrations and sales.

The store, located in the Ferndale Station retail center, is owned by Barb Scoggins.

Monday, Aug. 13: “Meet Your Local Artist Day”

Local artists will work in the front of the store allowing customers to see them in action.

10-11:30 a.m.: Rhonda Rouse (curly scarves)

11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.: Kathy Verano (assorted jewelry, including some made with leaves from Whatcom County that are sold in Italy and Greece)

1-2:30 p.m.: Brandon Taylor (paracord survival bracelets for all genders and ages)

2:30-4 p.m.: Kristi Silk (one-of-a-kind reclaimed jewelry)

4-5:30 p.m.: Kathy Mader (plastic & felt jewelry)

5:30-7 p.m.: Martha Savage (aprons, purses, hats & kids clothes)

Tuesday, Aug. 14: Floralescents 

1-4 p.m.: Ginger Burress will demonstrate how to turn grocery store flowers into floral arrangements.

Wednesday, Aug. 15: Bare Bones BBQ

11 a.m.-3 p.m. (or until food runs out): Bare Bones BBQ will serve items off their menu in the gravel parking lot adjacent to Find Your Fashion.

Friday, Aug. 17: The Woods Coffee

2-5 p.m.: The Woods Coffee will offer samples of its Cold Brew coffee and Mini Monster cookies.

Additional, yet-to-be-determined events are planned for Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
