Financial literacy courses for business owners offered this winter

Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center and the Artino Advisory Group will offer five financial literary courses for local business owners this winter.

The courses, which may be taken individually or as a series, are open to the public and cost $50 per class or $200 for all five.

Here are the courses:

1. The Role of, and How You Spend, $$$: 7:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17
2.Understanding Margins and Using Them to Make Better Decisions: 7:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15
3. Strategies to Increase Your Bottom Line: 7:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12
4. The What, Why and How to Boost Business Growth: 7:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2
5. Cash is King! Are you Hoarding It or Spending It?: 7:30-9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb 23

All courses are held at the Small Business Development Center office at 115 Unity St. #101, in downtown Bellingham.
