Forest Ethics moving from waterfront to downtown

By Isaac Bonnell

Forest Ethics, a local environmental nonprofit, is in the process of moving from its office at 1010 C St. to a larger space on the third floor of the Puget Sound Energy Building at 1329 N. State St.

The new space is about 1,400 square feet and will give the organization more room to expand. Forest Ethics is planning to add two more employees this year to its current staff of six, said executive assistant Jason Paglia.

“We’re super exicted to be moving into the heart of downtown,” Paglia said. “We’re sad to be leaving the waterfront, but excited to be moving.”

Forest Ethics has offices in Bellingham, San Francisco and Vancouver, B.C. The organization works to protect forests and encourages companies to create environmentally friendly practices.
