Rob Camandona, former executive director of the Downtown Bellingham Partnership, has joined U.S. Bank as an assistant vice president and relationship manager.
Camandona is based in U.S. Bank’s downtown Bellingham office on Holly Street. He manages the bank’s commercial clients in Bellingham and northwest Washington.
Camandona had been the executive director of the Downtown Bellingham Partnership since 2011. The organization acts as an advocate for downtown stakeholders, and runs the monthly Art Walk events, as well as the Downtown Sounds summer concert series and the Bite of Bellingham food festival.
The Partnership’s marketing manager, Amy Vergillo, is currently serving as interim executive director. Details of the organization’s future leadership will be worked out by its board of directors over the next several months, according to Vergillo.
In an email, Camandona said he was grateful for his time with the Partnership.
Prior to taking the executive director position, Camandona worked at Banner Bank, where he was a relationship manager for commercial lending. He has also previously served as president and CEO of Toad Mountain Coffee, as well as manager for Holland America Line.
He graduated from Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy.
