Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center will host two seminars on contracting and marketing with the government on Wednesday, June 19, at the Port of Bellingham’s Harbor Center Conference Room.
Both seminars are free and open to the public.
The first seminar (registration information here) starts at 9 a.m. and will focus on government contracting. It will cover why businesses should sell to the government, contracting as a business growth decision and registrations, classifications, certifications and regulations.
The second seminar (registration information here) starts at 1 p.m. and will focus on marketing to the government. It will cover how to connect with government customers, how to analyze current and future needs in the marketplace, best practices, and how to use the right tools to market to the government.
Both seminars are ideal for established businesses that have generated revenue for a minimum of two years and are interested in participating in the government marketplace.
