Frontier Airlines withdraws seasonal flights to Denver

Frontier Airlines won’t offer flights from Bellingham International Airport to Denver in 2015.

The airline has offered nonstop flights between Bellingham and Denver from May to September since 2012. The flight was Frontier’s only service from Bellingham.

Airport manager Daniel Zenk said the flights were 90 to 95 percent full, but Frontier is moving its aircraft to the East Coast, Zenk said.

The flight accounted for 7,491 of the 537,961 passengers that flew out of Bellingham International Airport last year.
