Fuda and Swan join Home Attendant Care as senior care professionals

Home Attendant Care recently added two experienced nursing professionals to their management team. The new employees work with the company to oversee long-term personal care services for seniors wishing to remain in their own home.

Joy Fuda has more than 30 years of nursing experience and works through Home Attendant Care’s Bellingham office.  As a professional case manager she helps Whatcom County seniors develop a care plan and then oversees the personal services they select. She also serves as a liaison between clients, family members, physicians, and other service providers to ensure clients receive the best possible care.

Karen Swan has worked in a variety of medical settings since 1975. She has a bachelor of science in nursing degree and uses professional assessment and personal communication skills to provide senior citizens with the knowledge and tools necessary to be as independent as possible. Swan now helps clients manage their ever changing health care needs from Home Attendant Care’s Bellingham and Burlington offices.

“As a local and family-owned business it’s more important than ever for us to hire experienced professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to work with clients going home from the hospital or nursing homes with increasing medical needs,” company director Debbie Gann said in a press release. “Joy and Karen share our vision and values and have been a wonderful addition to the team.”

Home Attendant Care, established in 1983, serves seniors in Whatcom, Skagit, Island, and San Juan counties. For more information, call (360) 734-3849 or visit www.homeattendantcare.com.
