Tina Gisvold, a Whatcom County native with 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, has been named director of catering for Windows on the Bay Events.

Gisvold will manage catering and event planning for Windows on the Bay Events, a Bellingham waterfront site for social and business gatherings. She also will oversee off-site events for Hilltop Restaurant & Catering.

Gisvold spent the last six years as an event planner for a local catering company, working with clients from initial inquiries to the execution of their events. She also is known to many as the Parks & Recreation Department director of the Sudden Valley Community Association, a position she has held for five years.

Gisvold is a graduate of Sehome High School and Whatcom Community College.
