John Harlow has been hired as managing director at Barcode Re-Sourcing Inc., a Bellingham-based barcoding and portable computer business.
Harlow will be responsible for managing all staff and operations of the business, including sales, marketing, equipment repair and purchasing.
“We are happy to welcome John Harlow to Barcode Re-Sourcing and look forward to his contribution, providing leadership and direction to our staff, as well as providing unparalleled services to our clients,” said Eric Anderson, the company’s owner, in a press release.
Prior to joining Barcode Re-Sourcing, Harlow was the purchasing manager for Ryzex, which is now owned by Peak Technologies.
He has more than 14 years of experience in the barcode industry, specializing in purchasing, inventory and sales. Harlow also has 15 years of experience with manufacturing and electronics assembly.
Harlow said he sees a lot of potential with his new company.
“I think that Barcode Re-Sourcing is in a great position to grow as value-added reseller of barcode equipment and repair services,” he said. “I’m excited to join a company that is small enough to provide great customer service and large enough to meet the needs of our clients from independent route drivers to wholesale distribution companies.”
Harlow is a longtime Bellingham resident. He attended Bellingham High School and enjoys staying active in the local community. He is the current president of the Chuckanut Sports Car Club.
