Bellingham city officials have announced several public events concerning proposed plans for the future Waterfront District that will be held over the course of the next month.
The Bellingham City Council’s Waterfront Committee will hear a presentation regarding the waterfront plans at 1 p.m. on Monday, July 15, in the City Council chambers at City Hall, 210 Lottie St.
City staff and officials with the Port of Bellingham will be available to discuss the waterfront planning proposals and answer questions from noon to 1:30 p.m. and from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, in the lobby of City Hall.
A public hearing regarding the proposed Waterfront District sub-area plan, development regulations, design standards, planned action ordinance, development agreement and facilities interlocal agreement at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, in City Council chambers.
