The Bellingham Business Journal

On April 25 at 2 p.m., the Heart and Hands Awards will take place at Bellingham High School. These awards honor Whatcom volunteers and nominees can enjoy an ice cream social with their friends and neighbors.

Five nominees will be selected for $200 awards that will be given to the nonprofit organization of their choice.

Mallard Ice Cream sundaes will be served by the Whatcom Volunteer Center and the Bellingham High School’s Strolling Strings will provide music. Attendees can bring an item of nonperishable food to be donated to the Food Bank in memory of Tutu Iverson, a local volunteer.
