The Mount Baker Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management will host its next monthly luncheon from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, at Northwood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave. in Bellingham.

Gina Solberg, director of employment services at PROVAIL, will provide an overview of new federal and local initiatives regarding inclusive hiring practices specific to people with disabilities.

The chapter’s luncheons are open to the public.

Attendance costs $20 for members of the nonprofit organization; $25 for nonmembers. For the program, sans lunch, or for student admission, the cost is $12. Student admission without lunch is free.
