Industrial Credit Union is currently accepting applications for new volunteers on its board of directors and supervisory committee.

The board of directors sets the general direction and policy for the credit union, ensuring its is well managed, financially secure and in compliance with all legal requirements.

The supervisory committee is responsible to safeguard the assets of the credit union membership. It oversees examinations by outside agencies and evaluates the compliance of staff and the board to both state and federal regulations.

Both volunteer terms are three years in length and any relevant experience is highly desired.

Interested parties can pick up an application at any of the credit union’s seven branches in Whatcom County, or download one online at www.IndustrialCU.org.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have been a member of the credit union for at least 90 days. Applications are due by March 2.
