Western Washington University will host info sessions on March 6 and March 18 covering its upcoming project management course.
The sessions are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, in WWU’s Academic West building, Room 303, and for 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, at the BIG Idea Lab, 114 W. Magnolia St., Suite 505, in downtown Bellingham.
The five-week, spring course is designed to help project managers, or others in similar positions, establish a solid foundation in management controls and practices. The program will cover the basic practices, processes, methodologies and policies all project managers should know, according to WWU.
The course combines lectures, small-group activities and discussions of real-life projects. It will be led by instructor Robin Haliday, who has more than 25 years of teaching experience, as well as management expertise in software development, network services, operations and facility moves.
