Local State Farm Insurance agent Jake Squires is preparing to move his office and staff of five from its current location at 2500 Cornwall Ave. to a new space at 820 Alabama St., next to Bank of America Home Loans.

The 1,250-square-foot space will include individual offices for Squires and two other licensed agents, a boardroom and a larger reception area.

“It’s a newer space and it has more exposure, being in Sunnyland Square and near Trader Joe’s,” Squires said. “And the extra parking is nice.”

The shell space is currently being finished and Squires said he plans to move by Sept. 1 and have a grand opening later in September.
