Blue Skies for Children recently added four new members to its board of directors: Jan Stamey, Bellingham School District teacher; Kevin Zvilna, psychologist; Seth Woolson, Chmelik, Sitkin & Davis attorney; and Beth Klein, Banner Bank, Fairhaven branch manager.
Blue Skies has also announced its executive board for the 2011-2012 term: Cecelia Guadalupe, owner of WordCraftersNW, is president; Sheri Lambert, radiological technician for Mt. Baker Imaging, is vice president; Anthony Petz, account manager for Oasys, Inc., is secretary; and Gladys Hyatt, past president, CPA and retired partner of Moss Adams, is treasurer.
Blue Skies hopes to grow its board of directors and needs three more board members going into 2011.
The organization was established in 1997 with a mission to raise hope and self esteem by sponsoring enrichment activities and other essentials for homeless, low-income and foster children.
