Joy of Pilates to move, expand Nov. 1

The Bellingham Business Journal

Joy of Pilates will move Nov. 1 from its current space at 22 North Harbor Loop Drive to a larger studio at 209 Prospect Street, which was previously occupied by Full Circle Studio and is near Whatcom Museum.

With the expansion, Joy of Pilates will be able to accommodate larger group classes and private sessions. The business, which opened in 2008, will continue to offer classes for all skill levels, private sessions and workshops that are open to the general public. In conjunction with the studio, licensed massage therapists Emma Morgan and Kate Tomlin will offer massage services.

The new space includes a dressing room, showers, a mini-exercise store, hardwood floors and approximately 800 square feet of unobstructed space.

The studio is located on the Whatcom Transportation Authority’s Gold Line and metered parking is available in front of the building.

Joy of Pilates will open its new studio for the Dec. 3 Downtown Art Walk and will exhibit a variety of works from local artists.
