Kathleen Pate, a photographer with the Lynden-based Wonders of Washington Photography, will be entering her second year of donating her services to the Whatcom Human Society. Pate takes photos of cats that are up for adoption at the society and then posts them to the organization’s Web site, whatcomhumane.org.

Wonders of Washington Photography offers scenes of nature and other events. The photos by Pate come in several formats and are available at Paws Awhile in Fairhaven, Northwest Gifts in the Cordata Shopping Center and other locations.
