Keller Automotive has moved to a larger location in Ferndale, enabling it to add body shop services in addition to maintenance, repair and detailing services.

Keller Automotive opened Jan. 5 in its new shop at 6397 Portal Way, which was formerly Wayne’s Custom Detailing & Auto Body.

Owner Scott Keller, who opened Keller Automotive in March, said the Ferndale site has nine bays in comparison to the three bays he had in his former location at 1601 Birchwood Ave. in Bellingham.

“We had a great first year in Bellingham, but this building expands our capabilities and has state-of-the-art frame and painting equipment, allowing us to add a body shop,” Keller said in a press release. “It’s also easily reached by most people in Whatcom County.”

Keller has more than 30 years of experience in vehicle maintenance and repairs and received factory training from Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche. The other technicians at Keller Automotive are certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
