After five years in Fairhaven in the 12th Street Village Building, Kitchen Design Studio is selling its showroom displays and moving.

Owner Marshall Dobry, who set up shop in Bellingham in 2006 after years of creating kitchen designs in Los Angeles, plans to trim costs by moving out of his retail space, located at 1200 Old Fairhaven Parkway, Suite 102.

“We’re not really a walk-in type of location anyway,” Dobry said in a press release. “Having the visibility of our Fairhaven space was nice, but people come to us as a destination when they need our specific services. We love the district and are exploring several options for a scaled-down space, but our clients can be sure we will continue to offer the creative design solutions we have in the past.”

To prepare for the move, all showroom items will be sold by the end of May, including kitchen appliances by Sub-Zero and Miele, office furniture and equipment, fine wood cabinets and kitchen accessories.
