Bellingham-based Kulshan Services added to its team and relocated to 1015 Girard St., a building recently purchased and remodeled by local developer John Blethen.
The environmental consulting firm is hosting an open house at its new office from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with light beverages and refreshments.
Kulshan Services helps clients throughout the Northwest with a range of environmental services. The company works with property owners on permitting, land use and regulatory issues and provides stormwater evaluation services for municipalities, school districts, businesses, and homeowner associations.
Before the move, the company grew from four employees to seven, hiring Nathan Rice, Reid Armstrong and Sarah Lane.
Rice brings a background in fish and wildlife research, field surveys, GIS, and ecological restoration to the company. Armstrong has 11 years of professional experience in fisheries and aquatic science and has led and supported aquatic and wildlife resource studies for private, state, and federal projects throughout the West. Lane has a background in environmental education and will be the company’s business manager, according to a press release.
