Landmark Lynden hotel reopens with new name

A landmark Lynden hotel reopened on Sept. 17 with a new name and renovated rooms. Formerly the Dutch Village Inn, the hotel with the 72-foot windmill at 655 Front St. will now be called The Mill Inn. Each of the seven rooms in The Mill Inn is unique and has a specific old-world European design. The hotel was founded in 1987 and closed after it was sold in 2013,and has under gone renovations ever since.
