Wieber steps down at Aluminum Chambered Boats

Larry Wieber has stepped down as CEO of Aluminum Chambered Boats (ACB), a company he founded in 1998. He will keep a position on the board of directors, but company president and COO Jim Moore will be assuming Wieber’s former responsibilities.

Moore would not comment about why Wieber has stepped down from his post, but in a statement he said, “Larry is a great visionary, created an exceptional product, and leaves ACB with many successes that we will continue to build on.”

Moore will continue to lead the company and is pleased to report that ACB had a record year in 2009 with a positive bottom line.

“There is a bright future for ACB in all segments of our company: government, recreational, law enforcement, and commercial,” Moore said.

ACB has recently been awarded two competitive government contracts for the U.S. Army Bridge Erection Boat and the U.S. Coast Guard Transportable Port Security Boat.
