The Downtown Bellingham Partnership announced Bellingham Mayor Kelli Linville, Greenhouse co-owner Chris Foss and cookbook author Mary Ellen Carter will be the judging panel for the 7th annual Bite of Bellingham on Saturday, Aug. 18.

The event, which is presented by Portionables, runs from noon to 4 p.m. on the 1300 block of Cornwall Avenue in downtown Bellingham. Admission is free, but tickets for food and drinks will be sold for $1 (food prices vary between vendors).

This year’s vendors include: Bayou on Bay, Boundary Bay, Café Rumba, Cheese Meat(s) Beer, Cicchitti’s Pizza, Diego’s Mexican Grill, El Agave, The Grub Hub, India Grill Restaurant, Jeckyl & Hyde Deli & Ale House, La Vie En Rose, Mount Bakery, Pure Bliss Desserts, Rocket Donuts, Silver Reef Hotel Casino and Spa, Swan Café and The Table by Bellingham Pasta Co.

The judges will join attendees in voting for Bellingham’s “best bite,” “sweetest sweet,” “dreamiest drink,” “best local bite” and “best gluten-free bite.”
