Linville, Louws to speak at Bellingham City Club

The Bellingham City Club’s first program of 2014 will feature Bellingham Mayor Kelli Linville and Whatcom County Executive Jack Louws, who will discuss their expectations when they first took office, what they have accomplished during their first two years, and what challenges and opportunities they see ahead for Bellingham and Whatcom County over the next two years and into the future.

The City Club is a non-partisan civic organization that works to foster dialogue and debate on important community issues , according to the organization’s website.

City Club programs run from 12:20 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. A buffet lunch is served at 11:50 a.m. Tickets cost $13 for members and $18 for nonmembers when purchased in advance online. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door ($15 for members and $20 for guests).
