Several executive leaders of local companies and nonprofits will be panelists during a discussion on the role of human resources in business strategy during a luncheon this week hosted by the Mount Baker Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, a nonprofit organization.
The event will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, at Northwood Hall, 3240 Northwest Ave. in Bellingham. Registration costs for the lunch and program range between $12-25. More information is online at mtbakershrm.shrm.org/.
The panelists include: Bob Pritchett, president and CEO of Logos Bible Software; Terry Belcoe, president and CEO of North Coast Credit Union; Janelle Bruland, president and CEO of Management Services Northwest; and Dave Finet, executive director of Opportunity Council.
Panelists will share views on the role HR plays in a company’s bottom line and the most important skills of HR leaders, as well as what panelists believe the future of HR’s contributions to the business world will look like.
