Local real estate agent bought Fairhaven.com

Bellingham real estate agent and entrepreneur Ben Kinney bought Fairhaven.com. He bought the website, which provides information about businesses, history, events and attractions in Fairhaven, from Fairhaven resident John Servais.

“I transferred ownership of Fairhaven.com to Ben for a variety of reasons,” Servais said in a press release. “I wanted someone that had a deep understanding and appreciation of this historic district. I also wanted someone motivated to continue serving the needs of the Fairhaven community by taking this website to the next level.”

Kinney owns the Bellingham franchise of Keller Williams Realty, and several other local businesses. Last year, he founded two startup real estate websites, Brivity and Blossor.

“I was really excited when I heard that Ben was acquiring Fairhaven.com from John, as I’ve known for some time that John was looking to retire,” said Chuck Robinson, president of Village Books and Paper Dreams in Fairhaven. “I’m so pleased that the legacy John has created will live on, and that Ben will bring his seemingly boundless energy and ideas to Fairhaven.com.”
