Longmire, Van Diest in as new agents at RE/MAX Whatcom County

RE/MAX Whatcom County has hired Aimee Van Diest and RoseMarie Longmire as agents in its Lakeway Drive office.

Longmire will focus on serving clients in the areas of residential, commercial, investors and land throughout Whatcom and Skagit counties.

Longmire’s career began in Skagit County after moving from Spokane, Wash., where she practiced property management and real estate investments.

With a background in insurance marketing and training in sales and management, Longmire earned her real estate license in 2007 and currently serves as president of North Puget Sound Association of Realtors, is an active board member of Excellence Northwest and serves as a Youth Education Director.

As a designated certified negotiation expert and graduate of REALTOR Institute, Longmire brings various capacities of leadership to members. She has has resided in Whatcom County for 6 years and enjoys connecting buyers to the home that is just right for their lifestyles.

Aimee Van Diest specializes in residential and new construction and has a history of selling large developments in Bellingham, Spring Creek and Parkstone.

Prior to earning her real estate license in 2002, Van Diest worked for Bank of America in eastern Washington serving clients in personal banking and later transitioned to serving clients in the real estate arena.

Once a licensed real estate agent, Van Diest worked for a few local real estate companies before joining RE/MAX Whatcom County.  She has lived in Whatcom County for 11 years and is excited to help local residents with their real estate needs.
