Kent Loomer and Randi Axelsson have been named tournament directors for the first annual Ryan Stiles Celebrity Golf Classic to take place July 16 to 18, 2010.
Loomer is a main stage player for the Upfront Theatre, which is owned by Ryan Stiles; and Axelsson is hotel sales manager for the Silver Reef Hotel, Casino and Spa, which will sponsor the event.
The event will benefit the Burned Children Recovery Foundation to enable them to build a local facility that will help burned children and their families from all over the country overcome the pain and hardships of returning to society and give them the skills to live happy and full lives.
More than 250,000 children are burned each year and the Burned Children Recovery Foundation has a goal to reach as many of these children as possible. The three-day event will include a night of improv, a celebrity gala and auction and a celebrity golf tournament where every foursome will be teamed up with a celebrity golfer.
