Sean Beanblossom has launched CubanoCubano, a food truck featuring Cuban sandwiches, bowls and side dishes. Beanblossom earned a culinary arts degree from Edmonds Community College, and served as the executive chef for the launch of Brannon’s Brewery in Portland. A Lynden native, he has returned to Whatcom County to launch CubanoCubano. Its signature item is a Cuban sandwich made with pork shoulder, cured ham, Swiss cheese, yellow mustard and dill pickles served on Cuban bread.
On Thursdays, CubanoCubano will be stationed at McEvoy Oil Co., 404 Irongate, Bellingham from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Fridays, it will be at Splash ‘n’ Dash Car Wash, 1850 Front St., Lynden from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. And on Thursdays and Fridays, it will be at Overflow Taps from 5-10 p.m. It will also be at special events and festivals throughout the summer.
