The City of Bellingham’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the second of three public meetings on the master plan for Cornwall Beach Park from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in City Council Chambers at Bellingham City Hall, 210 Lottie St.
City officials are using the public meetings to present three potential master plan alternatives for future development and to gather public input and comments.
The Cornwall Beach Park project is a priority for public access to the waterfront, and will help meet the objectives of the 2008 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan to provide a community park near the waterfront redevelopment area, according to the city. The master plan preparation is funded with $100,000 in Park Impact Fees.
