More than 60 employers to attend WWU career fair Nov. 5

Job seekers can connect with employers at Western Washington University’s Fall Business Career Fair, which will take place from 1 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5 in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

Admission to the fair is free to job seekers and open to the public.

Representatives from the following companies and organizations plan to attend the fair: Aerotek, Amazon, Apptio, Boeing, comScore, Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Enterprise, Expedia, Fluke Corporation, KeyBank, PACCAR, the Peace Corps, Physio-Control, Seattle City Light, Staples, Target, Tesla Motors, Washington State Department of Ecology and many more.

The day before the fair, Western’s Career Services Center in partnership with the Alumni Association, will host an event for students called “Ask an Alum: Career Conversations with Viking Alumni.”

That event starts at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 4 in the Academic Instructional Center West building on campus. The event is free and students may register online via the Alumni Association.

Western recommends that job seekers research participating companies, dress professionally and bring resumes to the career fair. The event is co-sponsored by Western’s College of Business and Economics and Career Services Center.
