Jane Carten, Brian Finnegan, Pat Foley, William Gerrie and John Templeton have joined the Mount Baker Theatre board of directors and will serve until June 2012.
Carten is director and president of Saturna Capital, which she joined in June 1997. She graduated from Western Washington University with an MBA and bachelor’s degree in computer science and business.
Finnegan is the owner and principal broker of WestCom Properties Inc., a full-service commercial real estate company. He founded WestCom in 1995 after spending several years working with the Vyzis Development Company out of Bellevue, Wash.
In December 2003, Foley became CEO of Mills Electric Company. Prior to that position, she was senior consulting manager with the Emerging Business Division of Moss Adams, LLP. She holds degrees in both finance and accounting.
Gerrie moved to Bellingham in March 2008 after transferring from Ponca City, Okla., to the ConocoPhillips Ferndale Refinery, where he leads the Control Systems department. Bill graduated with a BS in chemical engineering, and a BS in chemistry.
Tempelton is a Realtor with Windermere Real Estate. He has been selling homes and commercial property in Whatcom County for more than 30 years. John has served as a board member for many local organizations and looks forward to adding his experience to the Mount Baker Theatre board of directors.
