Mount Bakery Cafe in downtown Bellingham will screen live coverage of the Tour de France bike race beginning early Saturday morning, June 30.

2012 is the 10th year in a row the dual cafe and pastry bakery has hosted coverage of the famous race. The tour’s route this year is 3,497 kilometers long, equivalent to about 2,171 miles.

“When they’re racing, we’re watching,” said Vincent Lalonde, bike enthusiast and cafe owner, in a press release.

Mount Bakery will open by 5 a.m. on race days, and begin serving breakfast at 7. The cafe is located at 308 W. Champion St.
