Nonprofit discussion to focus on giving recognition

The Whatcom Council of Nonprofits will host a “brown-bag” discussion, titled “Saying thank you,” from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at the offices of the Whatcom Community Foundation, 119 Grand Ave., in downtown Bellingham.

The council’s discussions, which are open to all nonprofit organizations and employees, provide networking opportunities and a chance to meet and learn from peers in the local nonprofit sector.

This month, Christina Kobdish Wright, the director of external affairs for Mount Baker Planned Parenthood, will lead a discussion on showing appreciation and giving recognition for the individuals and organizations supporting nonprofits.
