The Eddy Sports Bar and Music, located in the former home of Club 524 at the Nooksack River Casino, is hosting a ribbon cutting and grand-opening ceremony from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, at 5048 Mount Baker Highway in Deming.

The event will feature wine from Masquerade Winery.

The Eddy is open Fridays through Sundays, featuring free pool, foosball and Seahawks games, as well as live music on Friday nights. The sports bar is a new member of the Bellingham/Whatcom Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

“We wanted a fun and comfortable place for customers to enjoy live music and watch the games,” said Gary Kentner, the casino’s general manager, in a news release. “It’s a great addition to the already popular casino.”

The Nooksack River Casino is open daily, offering dining facilities, slots, table games and poker, winner’s club awards and special promotions. The casino has a second location, the Nooksack Northwood Casino, in Lynden.
