Bellingham photographer Tore Ofteness has received a lifetime achievement award from the Professional Aerial Photographers Association International, an organization with about 300 members worldwide.

It is among the most prestigious awards given to members of the organization, and notes the recipient’s significant contribution to the art and business of aerial photography.

Ofteness received the award during a recent conference the organization held in Las Vegas, Nev.. He has produced acclaimed aerial photography for more than 30 years.
